While the U.S. continues to bask in the warmth of an unusually mild winter, strong winter on the European Continent, has claimed almost 300 lives from Switzerland to Rome as temperatures plumet up to -22 Fahrenheit (-30°C) across Europe. Also, Extremely harsh winter has claimed at least 200 lives in Russia, Poland, Germany, Romania, Serbia... since the beginning of the year.

Oh wow, these places must have experienced a terrible snowstorm. As much as I love snow (especially since I get to skate and sled during snow seasons), I hate it when it gets worse.
ReplyDeleteMy mother inlaw would say that a lot of beggars died in Germany during winter season because it's too cold and they can't resist the negative degrees Celsius temperature.
